what a little star! the first day of the back to back championship shows gave her the title of Cyprus Champion

she was also Res. BOB

The second day she did it all again..................but was BOB [ best of breed] This gave us the chance to enter the group judging. Unfortunately, the group judging was 5 hours away! the temperature was 32 degrees and climbing, we made the heart wrenching decission to come home, Whisper was already flagging in the heat at the challenge [ luckily the male was totally unresponsive] so we felt it kinder to bring her home in the cool to relax. It was a 2 hr journey home, so we were all totaly exhausted when we eventually arrived home.

She is still tired today [ me too!] but we are over the moon with our little Champion.there will be pictures soon!

we cant thank Diana and Robin Sadler for allowing us to adopt such a stunning [ if incredibly naughty!] baby and we are sure they are very proud of her too.

we are hoping for puppies possibly spring time next year from her once she attains her titles

What a first show! Bentley the am cocker was RESERVE BEST IN SHOW [ on his 6th birthday...........bless him!]

Jazz the am cocker won her bitch catagory and Whisper our young beagle was second only to the dog that subsequently won best in show!.......................loads of prizes, rosettes and dog food came home with us!

dogs are LOVING IT! they have nwever spent so much time outside in their lives!. they have a lovely shaded covered run, with what always seems to be a gentle breeze, unfortunately we dont allow them to run free in the fruit orchard or headlands, snake bites are comon for loose dogs as their natural inquisitiveness [ is that a word??] gets them poking into nooks and crannies that the snakes like to reside in, we have to keep a snake antidote with us at all times  and at home just in case as a bite from the blunt nose viper kills in minutes!

We will be showing for the very first time under FCI rules at a double championship show [ 2 shows in one weekend at same venue] in May, fingers crossed! i will be very nervous although i have been to a couple of shows here and the handling leaves much to be desired and "double" handling is normal practice! but rules are so very different so i'll have to have my wits about me!
