Useful information

Welcome to the information page.

We are more than happy to discuss our breeds with prospective owners, and even arrange visits, but please respect our privacy and dont turn up unannounced,we have busy lives and plan our day around them.

Because we only breed occasionally we usually have waiting lists for our puppies.
If we cant help you we sometimes know of other breeders that have litters too !

If you decide to enter our lists we do insist that we meet with you at least once
before the puppies are born, this gives you a chance to see our dogs without the distraction
of tiny babies, and gives us a chance to"vet" you! and yes, we have refused people
if we didn't think that they or their lifestyle was suitable for our babies.

We give a guarantee that should your circumstances change at any time throughout the puppy's
lifetime and you find you cannot keep him / her then we will have them back.Either to keep with us
or to rehome to a thoroughly vetted home.

Every puppy comes with a 4 generation pedigree.Kennel Club Registration, copies of DNA testing
and any health certificates needed (dependent on which breed you are interested in),
and a puppy pack including a care sheet, diet sheet, notes on training and socialisation and a supply of food.,and
of course our no quibble sales contract. The pups will have had a full worming course and have been vet checked
a day or so previous to you picking the puppy up.

Should you wish to contact us you may find email the quickest way as it is checked every 4 hours or so (unless
we are at a show) give us your number and we will phone you back asap.

We are situated in Cyprus not far from the beautiful historic port of Paphos

Useful Dog Training Resources

If you need help with dog training, you may be wondering where you can turn to receive the assistance you require.  What you will discover is that there are many different resources readily available to you that can provide you with the guidance and support you are looking for.  You may find that some of them will prove more useful than others but what you deem beneficial will really depend on the questions or problems you are having.

Nonetheless, the following is a list of the many different training sources you can try to achieve the help you are looking for:

Books – Local and online bookstores offer many different training guides that are both general and breed specific.  They can offer tips, advice and instruction to teach basic and even advanced obedience.

Videos – Instructional videos that you can purchase on VHS/DVD or can find on the net can be quite useful because you can actually see a trainer teaching the command.  For some people, being able to see what needs to be taught is easier to grasp than the written word.

Professional trainers – Seek out the advice of an experienced dog trainer.  Find out if there is a local class you can attend with your pooch or if there is a professional who is willing to work with you one on one.  Try searching the web and the yellow pages to find out what or who is available in your area.

Veterinarian – Vets have plenty of experience with dogs and know a thing or two about how to handle animals.  They may be able to assist you in dealing with certain behavioral problems.

Breeder – The breeder whom you obtained your pet from is likely an expert on the dog breed you own and have had plenty of experience training many dogs with different personalities.  They will probably be able to answer any question or concern you have and provide you with helpful suggestions.

Other dog owners – Don’t be afraid to ask the opinions of friends, relatives, co-workers, etc. who have canines.   You don’t have to agree with their recommendations, suggestions or methods but you’ll never know what help they can be if you don’t inquire.
